VpCI-368 Rust Proofing Wax | Waxy RP Removable Coating | Removable Anti Rust Wax and Solvent Based | Outdoors Wax based Rust Inhibitor | Salt Spray Resistant | Wax Rust Inhibitor Spray | Dry Wax Anti Rust Spray

Wax-based rust proofing products such as VpCI®-368 are UV resistant temporary coatings designed to provide high performance anti rust protection with outstanding salt spray resistance with only a thin layer and with ease of application and removal. The wax is contained in a solvent carrier that quickly evaporates leaving behind a thin dry waxy rust inhibitor layer. They are designed to be cleaned off the metal surface usually with specific solvents or water based cleaners.
For long term corrosion protection in outdoors and unsheltered conditions. Products like the VpCI®-368 are design to prevent rust in industrial equipment and parts such as pipes, spare parts, wire ropes, steel plates, machined parts and it is suitable as an underbody coating. It is a popular choice specially in the Oil & Gas industry for equipment lay-up and mothballing. The special EVP version of VpCI®-368 has increased VCI effect which makes it a great cavity wax to protect hollow metal parts from rusting. Metals protected effectively by this product include: carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum and cast iron.
